Milton Keynes Theatre is set to play host to some of the biggest and best musicals around.
West Side Story, voted the greatest musical of all time in the Times Top 50 Musicals 2013, returns while another firm favourite, Singin’ in the Rain promises to shower you (literally if you’re sitting in the front of the stalls!) with nostalgia.
The brand new production of Fame high kicks off the leg-warmers to bring classic feel-good favourite bang up to date.
And check out smash-hit Rock of Ages with Ben Richards and Noel Sullivan, to take you right back to stadium anthems and air guitar.
Happy Days is a new musical, based on the hit TV series, rolls into town with Ben Freeman, Cheryl Baker and Sugababe Heidi Range.
Or further back along memory lane, to the golden age of Hollywood, is Top Hat, which returns from the West End after it’s world première at the theatre in 2011.
If you are looking for laughs there’s plenty to be had with the holiday hi-jinks of Keith Barron, Gwen Taylor, Neil Stacy and Carol Royle in the sit-com Last of the Duty Free.
There’s also a major revival of one of the best-loved plays of the 20th century, Pygmalion, with Rula Lenska and Alistair McGowan.
Dance fans can look forward to Northern Ballet’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, feel the rhythm in Rhythm of the Dance or enjoy Dance til Dawn, a classic love story from Strictly Come Dancing starring Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacac.
Kevin Clifton and Karen Hauer also bring Flash Mob with Flawless and other acts from Britain’s got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance and Got To Dance to the stage.
Northern Ballet also have a special 35-minute performances of Three Little Pigs or enjoy a big splash adventure with Peppa Pig.
The autumn sees the return of Dirty Dancing, Glyndebourne on Tour and English National Ballet’s annual visit, the brand new Calamity Jane, the return of The Mousetrap and the theatre’s annual pantomime – Peter Pan.
