Stage and screen actors Isla Blair and David Cardy will join Gemma Arterton in the new musical version of Made In Dagenham that opens at the Adelphi Theatre on November 5.
Isla and David will play Connie and Monty in Richard Bean’s stage adaptation of the hit British film. Music is set to be by David Arnold and lyrics by Richard Thomas.
Isla Blair’s long and glittering career includes stage roles in The History Boys and seasons at the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Old Vic.
David Cardy’s recent stage credits include Ghost Stories and Dreamboats and Petticoats.
On screen he is best known for his recently reprised role of Chris Theodopolopodus in the hit comedy series Birds Of A Feather.
Made In Dagenham is set in 1968 and follows the true story how a group of rebellious working women fought for equal rights at the giant Ford Dagenham car plant.

Made in Dagenham is based on motion picture of the same name produced by Number 9 Films.
