A cast of top actors will read a selection of Harold Pinter’s poetry at a one-off recital following Wednesday’s performance of The Homecoming at the Trafalgar Studios, London.
The recital will be free to that night’s audience.
The cast of actors taking part will include some of the UK’s most skilled interpreters of Harold Pinter’s work: Douglas Henshall, Celia Imrie, Gina McKee, Indira Varma, Lia Williams and Susan Wooldridge, and current cast members of The Homecoming, Ron Cook and Gary Kemp.
The event will be part of the Jamie Lloyd Company’s celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Pinter’s masterpiece which has received glowing notices since being revived by Lloyd (read our verdict bit.ly/1jhDsIi).
It will form part of a series of programmed events, whose aim is to engage with audiences beyond the play itself and, in this case, to open up the world of Pinter’s further work to a new audience.
