Legendary play, The Mousetrap, has broken another record this week with the largest audience size The Grove Theatre has seen for a week-long run.
The production is on at the Dunstable venue until tomorrow night as part of the show’s diamond anniversary tour.
The Agatha Christie thriller is a landmark within the world of theatre and famous around the world for being the longest running show of any kind in the history of the British stage.
Peter Saunders, the original producer of The Mousetrap, expected the play to only run for fourteen months.
The writer herself did not expect the play to run for long either yet 60 years later the play continues to captivate audiences with its clever plot.
Catch The Mousetrap at Bedfordshire’s only professional theatre tomorrow before it continues on its national tour.
