Ralph Fiennes is to be joined by Linda Emond and Sarah Snook in David Hare’s new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s The Master Builder, directed by Matthew Warchus, which is set to open at London’s Old Vic in February.
Fiennes stars as Halvard Solness with Linda Emond as Aline Solness and Sarah Snook in the role of Hilde Wangel in this searing and mesmeric exploration of power, control, life and death.
David Hare is the author of 32 plays for the stage including Skylight, The Absence of War, Amy’s View, The Judas Kiss and The Blue Room.
Halvard Solness is a master architect who has spent his lifetime building the tallest spires in the land.

The Master Builder runs at The Old Vic from January 25 (previews) until March 19.
