It’s Perfect Nonsense but PG Wodehouse fans can’t get enough of the smash hit West End comedy.
Now the show is to tour nationally from September while the West End show has had an extension until January.
The award-winning show at the Duke Of York’s Theatre, has a cast change from June 30 with John Gordon Sinclair and James Lance in the leads before heading out on tour in the autumn.
Lance takes over as Bertie Wooster and Gregory’s Girl actor John Gordon Sinclair puts on the tails to play Jeeves.
They replace the current cast, Robert Webb and Mark Heap. Co-writer Robert Goodale will take over from Mark Hadfield as Seppings.
Winning Best New Comedy at the 2014 Olivier Awards, the charmingly incompetent Bertie Wooster and his unflappable valet Jeeves are brought to life in this highly acclaimed comedy by brothers Robert and David Goodale.
Based on and adapted from the established literary works of P.G. Wodehouse, Perfect Nonsense will begin a ten date UK tour on September 24.
John Gordon Sinclair is an Olivier Award-winning Scottish actor best-known for playing Gregory in Bill Forsyth’s iconic 1981 film Gregory’s Girl.
