Charles Court takes Snow White panto to King’s Head

Mirror Mirror

We’re counting down to Christmas (some people I know have already bought their pressies) and here is a show not to miss.

Charles Court Opera has built up a cult following among London families who enjoy their hilarious “boutique” pantos which come in two versions, vanilla or full-in fruity.

This year the company is staging Mirror Mirror: A Snow White Pantomime after transferring to its new venue, Islington’s King’s Head Theatre.

This year sees their uniquely alternative and inventive take on the tale of Snow White. Anyone who has seen any of their eight previous pantos, knows to expect the unexpected.

There is a dazzling array of musical numbers, sung by an enormously talented and stunning cast – and you can bet that there’ll be plenty of puns in the frame!

The cast will feature regular Charles Court Opera compatriots, including founder and resident dame, the outrageously funny John Savournin.

From adults-only performances through to children’s matinees, Charles Court Opera’s boutique pantos are perfect for families, couples, groups of friends or office parties – and have become a legendary part of North London’s Christmas.

This year the company is promising that the show will be bigger, better, and a glittering treat for all.

Mirror Mirror runs at the King’s Head from December 3-January 9.
