Cillian Murphy is reunited with writer and director Enda Walsh on Ballyturk at the National Theatre, opening tomorrow at the Lyttelton Theatre.

He is joined in the cast by Mikel Murfi and Stephen Rea.

The lives of two men unravel quickly over the course of 90 minutes. Where are they? Who are they? What is this room, and what might be beyond the walls?

His television and film work includes Peaky Blinders, Broken, Red Lights, Inception, Sunshine, 28 Days Later, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Girl with a Pearl Earring and Cold Mountain.

Stephen Rea’s previous NT appearances include Cyrano de Bergerac, The Shaughraun, The Playboy of the Western World, Tales from the Vienna Woods and Comedians.

Ballyturk runs until 11 October.
