The national tour of BAFTA-winning playwright John Godber’s On The Piste ends with a slalom run at Scarborough’s Stephen Joseph Theatre next month.

Produced by The John Godber Company and Theatre Royal Wakefield, On The Piste has a five-strong cast including Roxanne Pallett (Emmerdale’s Jo Sugden), Samantha Seager (Jodie Morton in Coronation Street), Tom Rooke, Peter McMillan and Matthew Stathers.

Join ski instructors Tony, Isobel, Michelle and Marie in an avalanche of laughs as they go on the piste in Chamonix.

From first-timers to Brits abroad, Dave, Bev, Chris and Alison take to the slopes and the sauna as the ski novices try to impress.

On The Piste is as fresh as newly fallen snow and in this new version the laughs come thick and fast.

Life is out there but the falls are hard in this high energy visual production set in the French Alps.

On The Piste premiered at the Derby Playhouse in 1990 in a co-production with Hull Truck Theatre Company and was nominated for the Olivier Comedy of the Year Award in 1993 and again in 1994.

The John Godber Company was recently seen at the SJT with Teechers and Losing The Plot.

On The Piste runs at the SJT from November 18 and runs until 22 November. Show contains nudity.
