Josh Turner recreates Paul Simon’s Graceland Live for UK tour

YouTube guitar sensation Josh Turner is to appear with The South African Cultural Choir UK for Graceland Live, recreating Paul Simon’s epic album for a 15-date UK tour that includes Shepherd’s Bush Empire this October

The show comes from the producers of the West End and global smash-hit show, The Simon & Garfunkel Story, and Graceland Live will celebrate the success of Paul Simon’s multi-Grammy award winning album, Graceland.

Thirty years after the release of this ground breaking album, featuring such unforgettable songs as You Can Call Me Al, Under African Skies and Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes, this incredible concert will recreate Graceland in full with painstaking attention to detail.

The show will feature New York-based musician and YouTube sensation Josh Turner, as Paul Simon, the South African Cultural Choir UK recreating the fabulous Ladysmith Black Mambazo harmonies to perfection, and a live band.

A 15-date UK tour launches at Leicester’s De Montfort Hall, with more dates to come.

Josh started playing guitar at 13 when his PlayStation 2 was confiscated by his parents. In 2007 he began making YouTube videos, which have since garnered millions of views.
