Stones In His Pockets stops off at Dunstable’s Grove Theatre

Stones in his Pockets

The hilarious and thoroughly Irish comedy Stones In His Pockets comes to the Grove Theatre, Dunstable on October 22 as part of its whistlestop tour of one-nighters around the country.

The show has had an amazing few years. A sell-out run on Broadway and over four years in the West End.

Now it’s back on tour with original director Ian McElhinney, star of the TV hit Game of Thrones, at the helm and stars Conor Delaney and Stephen Jones.

This multi-award winning comedy by Marie Jones is set in a rural town in Ireland: a humdrum quiet community where nothing remarkable happens.

That is, until a Hollywood film crew comes to town and best of all, they’re looking for extras.

When two ordinary Irish lads, who are down on their luck, are cast as extras, it seems as though their luck is about to change, but is it?

One thing is for sure and that is that life will never be the same again.

Universally loved by all who see it, Stones in his Pockets is brought to life by two highly talented actors who play 15 characters between them – from the two cheeky lads intent on stardom to a Hollywood Goddess.
