The lucky folks of Northampton have two top Christmas shows at the town’s Royal & Derngate Theatre.
While Joe Pasquale leads the pirates in Peter Pan in the Derngate auditorium there a wizard of a premiere taking place on the Royal stage.
The stage will be transformed into the mythical kingdom of Camelot for an entrancing new take on the story of Merlin.

King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table will embark on a fantastical adventure tale of sorcery and chivalry, packed full of heroic battles and enchanting romance.
This world premiere production by Ella Hickson (who wrote last years acclaimed adaptation of Wendy And Peter Pan for the RSC) will combine exquisite storytelling with atmospheric original music to convey the magic, mythology and wonder of the ancient Arthurian legends.
