Post-apocalyptic Macbeth ready to wreak havoc at The CLF Theatre

Devil You Know Theatre Company is staging a thrilling new version of one of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedies, charting the bloody rise and downfall of the legendary warrior Macbeth.

Macbeth, being staged at The CLF Theatre, Peckham, is set in a future dystopian world, after a global nuclear apocalypse, where civilisation and technology has been obliterated.

Life has restarted but society and humanity have reverted. Survivors have forged weapons and primitive forts from scavenging what is left and they face a daily fight for survival.

He is joined by Guy Dennys, James Duffy, Jared Fortune, James Pearse, Tony Portacio and Jake Sullivan with further casting to be announced

Macbeth, directed by Paul Tomlinson, plays at The CLF Theatre, in The Bussey Building, from October 31 – November 18.
