Armed forces tribute with Bless ‘Em All at The Core
Take a trip down memory lane with a nostalgic tribute to our armed forces, Bless ‘Em All, at The Core, Corby Cube, on next Thursday, April 17, at 2.30pm.
Filled with songs and music from the 1940s, audiences will enjoy renditions of classics made famous by the greatest entertainers of the wartime era, including Max Miller, George Formby, Vera Lynn and Gracie Fields.
The show stars comedy entertainer Steve Barclay, virtuoso of the ukulele Andy Eastwood and new singing star Lucia Matisse, plus support from singers Jamie Steen and Mervyn Francis and the live music of the Martyn St James Band.
This will rekindle memories of the stars who kept Britain smiling through her darkest day, the evocative melodies, sing-a-long tunes and sentimental warmth.
