Fourth Monkey stages Marlowe’s savage Tamburlaine


Fourth Monkey’s two-year rep actor training company tackles Christopher Marlowe’s most epic and savage work – Tamburlaine The Great Part I & II.

Set in the rise of the Mongol Empire, Tamburlaine is widely acknowledged as a milestone in Elizabethan drama and its narrative still resonates in recent historic events.

Tamburlaine will be performed in rep at Fourth Monkey’s current base, Jacksons Lane, Archway Road, London, from March 14 to 21 and is co-directed by the company’s artistic director Steve Green and Head Of Voice Sarah Case.

Based in London, multi-award nominated Fourth Monkey Theatre Company has evolved to become one of the most innovative actor training providers operating in the country today.

Part I of the production will be performed on March 14, 17, 19, 21 (matinee) with Part II March 16, 18, 20, 21.
