The award-winning West End and Broadway smash hit musical comedy, Legally Blonde, opens at the Leicester Curve next month with a hit cast that includes Tupele Dorgu, Ian Kelsey, X Factor finalist Lucie Jones plays Elle Woods, Jon Robyns, Danny Mac, Natalie Hope, Phoebe Street and Francesca Hoffman.

When the beautiful and popular sorority sister Elle Woods gets dumped by her boyfriend Warner for a more ‘serious’ girlfriend, she is left with only one logical choice – she packs up her pooch and bags herself a place at the prestigious Harvard Law School in an attempt to win back her man.
This fun-filled and feel-good production is about following your dreams and staying true to yourself. In Elle’s very pink world, anything is possible and the feeling is infectious.
Coronation Street’s Tupele Dorgu plays Paulette. As well as appearing as Kelly Crabtree in the Street she has also appeared in Billionaire Boy, Cucumber, All at Sea, Trying Again; MI High, Preston Passion, The Case, The Accused, Waterloo Road and Merseybeat.
Her theatre credits include Educating Rita, Chicago, Mamma Mia, Teechers, Noises Off, Three Minute Heroes, and La Cage Aux Folles.
Ian Kelsey, who plays Callahan, has a lengthy list of theatrical credits. He recently appeared in the stage production of the Shawshank Redemption. Other credits include Danny in Grease, Chicago, Same Next Year, and Kes.
For television his credits include Doctors (series regular), Dustbin Baby, Blue Murder (series regular), Where The Heart Is (series regular), Down To Earth and Emmerdale (series regular).
Lucie Jones, who plays Elle, is the official rugby anthem singer for Wales and England. Her theatre credits Les Miserables and We Will Rock You. Her television includes Midsomer Murders and The Sarah Jane Adventures.
Legally Blonde opens on April 14, with previews from April 11, and runs until May 14.
